Kus done for the day.....

Branch posing as kelp ....actually I swapped fin tabs from the other quad and got another 45 but yeah, big drag, made me miss today at Pipers cuz one more got stripped by kelp. Pays to have brass tabs for the stainless screws tho or there would have been way more damage too funny as this is how the fins were after I planed to the beach, no idea how that was possible

I had the same thing happen the first time I sailed that place in the fall of 92, but it was a 20 foot log, but managed to sail back in with the fin just hanging by the rear peg..on an easterly to boot. I was a newbie to the island at that point in time.

I tore the box right out of a Tiga on an I.V. swell. I thought the log was kelp
