I wonder if anyone has any comments to make about this wetsuit. I need a new one and it looks pretty good for the $299 price tag. I'm little and skinny and I wimper when I'm cold so I wonder if the smoothskin 4/3 will be as warm as the Bodyglove 5/4/3 (with only partial smoothskin) I've been using for a long time now. Thanks, Jim.

not sure about this model but I've been disappointed with the physical properties of the "textile-covered" neoprene from Bare, it weathers poorly (turns yellow), shrinks to hard when dried and also the little rubber band end thingies start pointing out of the textile and start to let go and flake off. It IS warm tho but the zipper isn't the best sealing out water so you gotta get out quickly.
My 5-4-3 is only 2 yrs old w/ 1/2 year use and it's pretty ragged 7 worn. I since switched to Hotline. The older Bare smooth skin neoprene is/was awesome tho. If it has panels of that stuff it's warm as heck :P

I'm with Kus ... Go for a Hotline...Try to find the http://islandlongboards.com/shop/produc ... cts_id=127. I tried an excel for a few years. Very comfortable but they don't hold up as well.

Neil Pryde 5000 series 5/3 Semi-dry with E3 entry system, almost dry, can't be beat! Excellent workmanship, very warm, extremely flexible, purpose built for windsurfing. $299usd at neilprydemaui.com

I like my NP 5/3 steamer with the E1 entry system. Really warm - I too lose heat really quickly. I was amazed at its flexibility. It is a 2005 3000, so not as nice as the 5000 with E3 entry mentioned above by ULR, but it is now only $199 Canadian at Silent Sports! http://www.silentsports.com/store/produ ... -5-3-S-46/

Hey hey, thanks ~~~~~4j~~,
New rubber is on the way!
Said he didn't have it
but he looked around;
called me back
my size was found.
Laid down the plastic
now it's fantastic....

If it dosen't get windy for a while it's my fault.
Thanks, Jim.
