trying to buy a freestyle board from Ont. The guy is saying purolator or UPS won't ship it because it's too big, 105l freestyle, anyone have any suggestions?

it's in Kingston, in case anyone is traveling.

Have you called up any of the shops and asked them what shipping companies they use?

Yea, called boardsports, sounds like they use purolator. But I think the shipping companies are kind of like airlines, with the gear, the people working there don't really know what to do, or what they're talking about.

Still trying to figure it out, those bigger freestyle boards are hard to come by.

I've had a couple sups (including a 12 footer) come via Day and Ross shipping, with good results. They have a depot in Langford, easy peasy.

thanks for the suggestion, sounds like purolator will work. I've had a bad experience with frieght companies, not say day ross would be the same, but I'm a little scared of them, I has two forklift holes in a formula board when I arrived in florida

Have you tried greyhound? They generally have the best shipping rates and might do packages that large. Perhaps not as fastest though, and one does have to pickup from their local bus depot!
