Looks like it has good thermal wind. Where this wind meter is located?

About 20miles off Ucluelet.
While on the subject of places we'll never kite, Smith Island looks epic, waves one side, butter the other. But 5km off Whidbey and a marine sanctuary.

Check the v.i. map under current conditions. It's a bank (shallow) about 15 miles off long beach. You cant drive there!

Smith Island, you mean Shit Island... everytime i sailed close to it when going & returning from Port Townsend, I could smell the smell coming out of the swell/wave/wakes!! victoria's outpipe? PT or Whidbey outpipe? couldn't tell by the smell...!!!
beside that, very nice roller in that area ....!!! that indeed goes untouched...

just because a place has a weather station doesn't mean it's an ideal place to windsurf or kiteboard
