Arrived to MattyP rigging up a 5.5m with TnT and Ben-DinglyDoo out on 6's foiling in a solid 13-15kts with Gustastic and GregCan rigging up. I went with a fat 4.5m and 1263cm2 front foil. It lasted 30 mins then lightened up to 10-15kts but kept the 4.5m working as rule #1 of foiling is "just don't come off the foil". Came in for a cup of Tea and 1/2 sandwich and to chat with some doods on the beach as more peeps were showing up and BW warming himself in his BWVan. I had tried our the 184cm2 stab for the first time. I didn't like it much in the bigger waves so changed it out to my usual 280cm2 stab. I came in again to warm up and take a break as it was pretty windy with a solid 25kts although up and down a bit still. I had a solid 2 hours and decided to go out for another little bit but after about 30 mins I fell in twice so decided to call it a day. Sat and had a beer and sangy with MattyP and TnT. When I left I counted 22 Wings either out or on the beach. Great turnout and vibe on the water and the beach with 10-12 degrees and great winds!! I'm still hoping for an early morning session tomorrow. Still no GPS watch. I ordered it 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to be delivered on Thursday but apparently they have too many packages to deliver or something, so I wait. Not happy without my GPS. >>dislike<<
