Launched around 1030am with Ben, TnT, Bobson and GregCan. The wind was light at the beach, but looked better offshore so I rigged up the 5.5m, HA880, and first time on the Speed 180 stab! It took a bit to get used to but I did a solid hour on it without too many issues. Came in for a break and lollygagged with BWD, TnT, Bobson, GregCan, MtnarG, Ang and Coach Carl. Just before I relaunched the wind ramped up 10 knots so I rigged the 4m and headed back out. A bit of a wild wind day with lots of gusts, shifts and holes -- after another hour I was bagged. As we de-rigged and munched on Bobson's delicious pickle sandwiches (thanks buddy!) I counted 25+ wings out -- not bad for a December day! Lots of stoke on the beach. I'm still finding it hard to believe that we're not going to run into Greg Caws down at RB. It's not the same without him!
