Okay, I'll try to keep this short. Arrived at 9:30am to 10-14kts, shortly after The Pope showed up, 2 mins later, GregCan arrived and boom then The Notorious D.O.G. parked but didn't come and say Hi. Whatever!? TunaCan came for an Archie walk but also came out and was very Ninja like hiding in my blindspot many times. Well Played Tuna!! Well Played! We all chatted and rigged mostly big gear, 6's and 7's. I was first to get out and 10 mins later, first to come in and rig down. It was probably 10-16kts but pretty consistent so wanted to grab the smaller 4.5m sail, mostly cause I'm super lazy. As I was heading back out, MattyP was coming in to put away his 7m and grab a 5m. This is where things get foggy, seemed like a long day on the water. I made it 50kms and decided to come in and have lunch as I was coming in the Drunken Mexican Monkey straight from The Dominican was heading out and lots of other doods had shown up, Danno and Rupp-Dogg rigging while I ate lunch. Back out in what seemed like 12-18kts for another couple hours. Peeps I hadn't seen for awhile, MF4, Bougie, SAMMY!!, two German doods who all 4 seemed to be on Armstrong Wings and Omen boards. Whatever!?!? GBV, ULR and Just John also made appearances. Probably missed a couple butt pretty good for old-man-brain. Well, I had gone 90kms and then the wind died down to 10kts so I came in and grabbed my 6.0m to hopefully finish off the day. BANG!! It worked. 101kms completed so I pulled the plug and had a beer with Danno, MF4 and The DM (thanks for the beverage!!) as we watched The Junkman out foiling and SAMMY out by Jemmy Jones trying to decide why he was on a 4m Wing and 39l board. He made it in and we all cheered!! Everyone packed up and headed off except The Junkman who was still out foiling in 8-12kts. Pretty much perfect Bobson day. I should have put on the smaller front foil but, again, too lazy! So much fun today going wherever I want. 101kms travelled in mostly flat water, Lovin' It!!
