    OMG what a blast! Even falling in every turn except one it was just fun to play in the nicely spaced swell rolling in from the 30 knots up by Race. Perfect power for the 4. Felt like progress. Made it around several times before falling on the wing switch, and once touched to a taxi and jumped my feet around and stayed dry! I've done that on the wide board but not the downwinder before. I see from the logs there were all sorts of people there I didn't see. I did see a fleeting cameo by BWD as he played outside. Thanks to ULR for pointing out my crap parking job, and to Marty M for the near beer and the advice on the stripped helical, and the near beer! 3s coming down to the beach as I packed up and the wind picked up. Feel like i've been beaten by soldiers with bamboo sticks. But a good hurt!
