Just got back into town and read all of this. Great to see the positive outcome Paul. I know your condition well, as you know. I pray that you will stay strong. Positivity comes natural to you, so just know that you are truely loved from your family, friends, and of course, peers. We all love to see you in our lives simply because of how hard you go setting nothing aside. So glad to see this opportunity has presented it self to both you and your family.

See you soon pal, Jordan and Kriszti

Thank you everyone for your support! I believe strongly the healing I am experiencing is directlly the result of all the positive vibes, prayers, thoughts and stoke being sent my way from everyone!

I still have a LONG way to go, but my FVC is up to 43, and my FEV1 (the amount you can blow in one second) is up to 53% for you numbers geeks. This contrasts to 17% where I was two days beforre the call!

I miss Victoria and Dallas rd. in particular, but still have the webcams, so thanks Dave!

Kite Kook is looking mighty fine with his cozy warm BWD hoodie covering up his newly implanted lungs.

Well, I am closer to home (Vancouver General Hospital), but still in hospital here and on IVs for an indeterminate length of time. I am back to walking outside though, so feeling stronger.

May I suggest that we knock this thread off the latest news and put our thoughts towards Andrey/Russian Dude? He's a huge part of this community, quietly working behind the scenes (windsurf/kite log etc.) and might well benefit from the good intentions - I know I sure did!

Regardless, I hope he continues to heal up fast and furious. Good vibes coming to him from Vancouver!

Cheers,
Paul

Thank you Paul!

For me it was very simple - you do it or not. Oh well at least I don't have to deal with stuff hanging off the other stuff, if you know what I mean :)

Thank you again.

See you on the other side.

Cheers

Hey, I just learned that Andrey will be starting the second stage of his battle next week. Andrey - I will be thinking of you.

Just calling out to all BWD members to join me in envisioning this Russian wind master out on the waves again with a smile on his face!

Good luck Andrey, wishing you strength through the process and a quick recovery. I think life will be all the sweeter when you come through it all!

Cheers,
Paul
