No gps track, watch died sometime in session. Windy windy again! Some good waves to be had all over the lake, and I was all over the lake, out front, down in bay, down by river, upwind above Caycuse river, back out front to finish off with practice on starboard heel tacks, starboard toeside heinekens, starboard backwid riding. Another fantastic lake day! Looks good again today.

Landside facilities are impressive - orientation and sightlines, playground with canoe and drums, public art, grass rigging area and decent launching beach! Sailed with kiter Tom B, formerly of Windsure Windsurfing from 3 - 5pm . Fun to have another sailor on the water. 5.7 was the smallest sail I used this month.

Ten years ago today I took my first kitesurfing lesson with Marty at Nitinat. I just had to take a day off work to celebrate the occasion and get on the water. Got there nice and early, in time for a site briefing with DavidM. Opted for the 4.0, perfect choice for this multi-session day. Busy in the rigging area, fine mix of windsurf and wings. Good show from the South Island crew sharing the local hospitality. Choppy early morning with nice rollers closer to the Hudson's. Fun waves at the point :))

Pipering hot sessions at PL!So nice to be winging on the 4m and still have lots of carving power on sesh one. Lots of folks out with Leddy, Danno, Doc Mark, and many locals. Stayed mainly in the bay and played wingsurfing games near shore. Ventured out with the big boys occasionally in the big swell, but that was mildly terrifying for me. Wind remained quite West today (WNW) but at least stayed steady without a major lull while we were out Maybe could of been on it sooner and expected the wind to be a bit stronger but very happy with what we got. So warm! Started out breezy and looking to ramp up. It lightened up off the point not long after getting out but it stayed windy close to shore. Things get sketchy when it's too light to waterstart and you have to uphaul in rolling 3' swells... advantage wingers...
Managed to gets some nice downwind swell rides. Ribs feeling a lot better. Looks like it came back up a lot when I was packing up.

Fantastic summer sesh with the OGs and sporting a shorty suit. Went out with my old Naish 5m and was quickly OP'd. I came in and switched to 4m to save the stitching on the Naish. Gorgeous big swells that reminded me of Pipers. But that water temp was not Pipers tropics. Not really sure what the attraction is for those cold water swimmers. The wind and swell was the big attraction while on wing. Got a couple of kelp hits, but still not as thick as last year. Thanks for the fun, RB!

Challenging day, never really felt comfortable. Great swells, with some large kelp beds, glad I had my impact vest on! After a few gear changes ended up on the DW board and 3.0.

Got there early 330 ish.. nobody out expect a couple wingers. almost went 12m but it was ramping.. then it dropped about 30mins in.. ankle wasn't feeling bad after I took off the brace... brace was hurting me more. Couple big jumps on at rise!! surprised myself but nice easy landings for the ankle.. fun session then watched as everyone was rigging and heading out for the bigger winds! didn't want to pump my 8m or risk injury doing too much so packed up around 6... looks like it dropped hard at 8.. Bit of a shore bubble to get through, but was blasting on the outside. Some of the best swell I have seen to date at RB. My versatile 1225 was feeling too big. Had a fall in the straps and tweaked both my ankles, but they seem fine this morning.
