Arrived at Cook Street and I was the only one there. All the cool kids were at Clover. Decided to stand my ground as the only one launching at Cook. Pumped a 12m and hoped someone might come to assist me in a launch but, alas, no one showed. So I did a self-launch and it went just fine. Had lots of fun on my new Slingshot surfboard but I gotta say it is a more high strung ride than the Duke. I am not as planted on it and I find it more skittish than the Duke. It is super fun getting to grips with it but lots of wipe outs. After an hour my stamina waned and themorb landed my kite and I returned the kindness with a launch. Glad to help out Kevin with a spare leash after his broke. Also glad to meet and help Roberto with his first time at Cook Street. The whole afternoon was sunny, warmish and fabulous.
