ok, next time I want to use the 95cm fuselage in light wind, tell me to 'forgetaboutit' and then beat me with a stick! Tried with the 95cm fuse instead of the 115 and had issues keeping it up the whole time, standing on the back edge of the board which worked okay but would have been so much easier with the 115cm fuse as it gives soooo much more lift with the front foil so much further forward. It works okay when there is lots of wind but not so much when your milking every knot of wind to 'get it up'. Anyways, pretty great lunchtime session during a workday. it's 30 mins from my desk to being on the water and same on the way back, off the water and 30 mins to get to my desk. 4 or 5 Wangs out when I arrived, not sure who they were as I didn't have my contacts in so really couldn't see anything so was basically using the "Force" to see. Danny, Ang and Paul cooing down with beverages in parking lot when I got back. I had to scurry along as I had to get back to work before anyone noticed I was gone. In between was an hour of pumping the sail and the board. The 95cm fuse is definitely better for pumping the board than the 115cm fuse. I think I did pretty well foiling most of the time in the hour as the gusts were few and far between. it'll be interesting what the stats say. Glad I only had an hour as I was exhausted when I came back in as I was basically pumping something for the entire hour, the next door neighbors cat was next. HA! Only 21 more kms to go to 6000kms travelled this year.
