Arrived at 11am to Danno rigging his Wang. It was pretty light still maybe 10-14kts and not looking insane yet. So I rigged the 6.0m and as I was getting on the water at 11:30 it had picked up to 12-16kts and 20 mins later it was 15-20 so I came in and rigged the 4.5m as Danno was out on his 5.0m. Perfect for another 30 mins then it hit hard! I couldn't hang on to my 4.5m anymore and decided to come in and rig a flattened 3.7m as it was 25-30kts and the waves and shore break was getting bigger. But alas I had locked my keys in my man-van. Ugh!! So called the wife and waited for an hour for my spare set. Thanks honey! During the hour ULR came but to discuss his La Ventana trip, then Just John showed up as the wind was 35+ and shore break was huge. Double J headed out and looked pro in the crazy conditions. I stayed and watched for awhile and took a couple video's of Double J Wing-Wanging in the craziness!!
