Google Chrome no longer supports NPAPI (Java)

Post by jeamer »

I know that at the very least, the time lapse functions on the webcams run on Java. There's probably more. I think this will become more common across browsers soon. Is there any thought toward a switch to flash, or HTML5?

Chrome doesn't support flash anymore, but for whatever reason the cb streaming cam now works on chrome so I no longer have to use a different browser on Android.
My other hobby is channel surfing

The BWD website is optimized for Netscape Navigator 1.0. Using any other browser is not supported at this time.

Chrome does support Flash. It doesn't support the NPAPI Java applet plugins that I was using for the webcam Last 10 and Daily time lapses: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6213033?hl=en

The webcams for the last 10 'should' now work: http://www.bigwavedave.ca/webcams.php?cam=1&option=1

and for the Daily time lapse: http://www.bigwavedave.ca/webcams.php?cam=1&option=3
