On the water just after 11am to 12-14kts. First hour was amazing, mostly 12-16kts which was soooo perfect for the 5.2m Flyer. Did a few speed runs down to Trial Is. as it was very flat so could drop the hammer! Then it lightened up after an hour so decided to come in and have a snack and some water. Well, it had dropped so I waited for about an hour until it picked up to 10-14kts and I worked it in marginal conditions for the next hour coming of the foil a few times and ending up pumping a lot. After 50kms and 2 hours, I'd had enough and came in to find the 'Drunken Monkey' rigging up his 6m Wing. I derigged while he rigged and then I departed before he made it out and no one else there yet although wind looked like it was picking up again. Nice day to have off work thinking that Sat and Sun look good for wind as well. Hoping for some more wind for Dad's Day weekend. I had an commitment that I had to leave for unfortunately but I got my fix.
