Arrived early to a full parking lot, Tearoom Santa breakfast. Wind was 15-20kts and Shorebreak was reasonable. Rigged the 3.9m and left the 800cm2 foil as I knew how this foil would react. The Shorebreak had gotten bigger and I got worked and my uphaul snapped so had to come back and tie it together. Back out and up quickly, waves on inside were big and steep so difficult to stay foiling. Turned and foiled in towards the OB marina but wind had cranked to 30+ and I could not hold onto the flattened 3.9m so headed for the beach. Got worked by Shorebreak on the way in as well. Decided that was enough or something or someone would break. 7 mins isn't my longest foil session but made it back in 1 piece, except for my uphaul. I'll take it.
