Armstrong WingFoil 88L Duotone Unit 5.5m SAB W945 SAB S425

Started off as an amazing session. 5.5m was perfect. Air was warm. Water was warm. Slack tide (very little current)'
Then I realized my wing was deflating!
Rode as far as I could, then did a big paddle to the beach. Wind pushed me way down wind. Argh!
I guess I should not have sold all my backup wings. Too light for the 4.5m. Too strong for the 8m
Good time to start drinking beer.
Post Mortem:
New Duotone Unit 5.5m (4 sessions)
Pumped the wing in the garage once I got home.
It appears the deflate valve was leaking even thought it was fully seated. I could hear it hissing.
Not sure why. They have been using these valves on kites for years. Lots of people complaining about this on various forums.
I applied some silicone grease to the valve (Same stuff divers use to seal o-rings on underwater camera housings)
Held air overnight.
Fingers crossed.
