Arrived at 11am to not much inside and maybe 12-15 outside. Sailboats out there well heeled over. Danno and I arriving at the same time but I was able to sneak the Rock Star parking spot. We both rigged big with 6m's and I put on the bigger 1700cm2 medium aspect front foil, danno with the 1000cm2. We both foiled just past the point and continued to foil for the first 45 mins. As I was schlogging off the beach, The Pope showed up with the Pope-mobile. SWEET! Foiled around for an hour and then wind died so we all schlogged back into the beach with MF4, MtnarG and RedVanPaul all hanging out on Goat Hill betting on the US election. Ya, I know....weird!! Anyways, we all hung out on Goat Hill with Kalen, Rupp-dogg and The notorious D.O.G. showing up and bringing the wind back, again...SWEET!! So RedVanPaul and Danno headed out on his new pencil board and a paddle, not quite sure about that but whatever!?!? Wind came up to 15kts briefly and all of a sudden there were 10 Wings out, I was getting chilly and the wind was getting lighter and turning a bit North so pulled the plug and found ULR on the beach directing traffic on the beach. Early on in the session I was quite a ways outside chasing sailboats that were headed by and giving each one a huge WooHoo!! Seemed like fun. Also, used the G1007 today which is 1700cm2 and very good at gliding and allowing me to get on foil in very light wind. This is now my new favourite light wind foil. The sea conditions didn't allow me to see how fast it would go but next flat water session I'll do some testing with it and the PFI730.
