I should have stayed on the Kapalua side (West).
Kahului wind report showing 12kts rising, I made another trip across the Island to Kanaha. Rig the 5.0 because that's all I took. 5 more knots please! No luck. Worked very hard to save this one and finished with a surfy swim. Beautiful waves but just not enough wind to follow through. I was the only short board in Kaa, everyone on DWs, lots of prone and paddle foilers. Took a knife to a gun fight again :/
