Moments of Stoke: What are yours?

There's not much wind in the forecast for the next little while, so I'm interested; what gets the stoke-on for you?

Some ideas that come to mind for me:

Driving up Cook st and seeing the broom blowing in the wind above the bluff just before catching the first glimpse of white froth and large swells shaping the water.

Sliding a brand new board out of the box: the sound of joy!

Seeing a buddy overcome their fear of looping and pulling the trigger.

Washing sand out of my ears the morning after a Pistol session and anticipating doing it again that day.

The wind model turning a deep shade of crimson.

Nailing an elusive move.

Post session beers combined with lying about how huge that [BLANK] was that you pulled off that no one else remembered seeing.

Landing in Maui or Tobago and literally being hit and pushed back by hot winds at the airport!

Blowing fine sand.

Coming down Ditidaht side road after 3 hours of driving and first sight of Nitinat Lake going off, 7 more minutes, 7 more minutes!!

Rigging a 3.7 at the Hatch!

Immediately after the first big catapult/slam/rinse cycle anywhere.

Sprecklesville!

Memory of that first launch into Ho'okipa and first big wave there with no one else on it!

Seeing Jellyfish make her first outside jibe in Oregon!!!!!

Ah yessss, the stoke.

As some of you know, my stoke is not limited to windsurfing, however, here's some of my stoke inducers,

Fresh bubblewrap (kinda a chiropractic thing)

Oregon Beer

Pre sesh beers at the Wall (Can I hold on to a 3.7 in this? There's dead sturgeon floating by... it's on!)

Raging SE, whether in Vic, or CB

Other folk being stoked. Senor Watson takes the cake, I am stoked every time I see him being stoked.

Sailing dinghies in Europe, with 146 boats on the start line, 25 knots of wind, trying to win the start, while being terrified of the mayhem.

The moment your first see your new sail/mast/boom/board/bike in the store/internet, it's love at first sight. The day you finally gather up the courage to close the deal. You speed home and tear off the packaging in a frenzy. Cuddling up to your new sail/mast/boom/board/bike in bed, you stare into each others eyes (or equivilant) in lovingful embrace, while you fall asleep together, eager to shred one another the next day. Stoked! (watch those sharps edges)

Feeling the Shark brush past your legs as your flounder around at the cape after you sail nose dives directly under you. Stoked!

Trying to decide whether you get more stoked MTBiking, Windsurfing, Snowboarding, Boats and which one to do the next day! Stoked!

Now before this thread gets out of hand, let's all remember getting stoked can lead to death or worse.

Nice Thread, a few things come to mind.

Pulling a new kite out of a bag, pulling the tags off and pumping up! great feeling.

Checking the forecast in the morning and it's yellow or red all day! makes my day.

Signs of spring. Sunny, longer days and SW wind.

I get stoked when it snows too.

Coming home after Kiting and dinners ready.... and cold beer.

kid has no hockey in the morning. STOKED!!
Cut n glued up the planks for my paddle project. STOKED!
Hiking down thru the woods at my favorite spot. STOKED!
Pre-booked my gear at Kanaha Kai. STOKED!
