Thermals are good.
i like how you have used the minute or so of dead air/black screen at the end so we, the viewers have a chance to really let this lesson sink in. ;) EDIT - hey it's gone. oh well, sarcasm gets me a shorter vid. Next up, the helmet cam vid of the water relaunch?
seriously tho, nice use of music

Vive et Ama
I liked it, beauty launch, haha. On a steady lightwind day this is great.....with my kite I think I would have tied it to the front post tho, not the one in back so you don't launch yer lines into the gazebo roof on a gust or get yer sorry butt slammed into the post all been done before. The people grater at IV, haha
Yes, the "dark side" (screen) moment at the end really sets the mood I have to agree
Remember JL, Poggies are for girls

If I secure any closer downwind my kite is into a picnic table ... I have bonded with my pogies ... They would cushion your knuckles as you bounce off things Kus ... p.s. This launch works great in high winds , I just let the kite fully depower when I secure it !!!

Jimmy, used your technique out at Gordons yesterday. tied it to a big piece of drift wood on the beach. first time out the tide was really low so the kite just sat on the rocks till i got back to my bar to get it into the air, but the second time the tide was up so i just walked the kite out into the water and let it sit out there till i got it up in the air.
awesome technique, just have to be sure that there is no big hole coming towards the kite, don't want it to roll before you get to the bar to control it.
