OES and AHD Boards
OES and AHD Boards
On second thought I don't want to drift 4J's thread so here is the supply info:
I am now the dealer for AHD's http://www.a-h-d.com/
and hopefully shortly to confirm OES Australia waveboards as the other line as well

Happy sailing....I will try to beat any pricing you come across, kinda like the box stores without the box....or even a store Beach sales only

The "Rebound" freestyle-wave model looks like it could be a good moderate wind CB board.

But so does the OES X-wave...

Kus, I'm not sure what boards you are getting to demo (especially since you have no "box store"), but personally I'd be interested in comparing these two (Rebound 83 and Xwave 82). The OES construction sounds tough and light.

Both of these I am considering for myself, they both have a Powerbox which make them more desirable in my mind (the OES can be ordered in A or Power). For my size tho, they would be my hi wind boards I won't be in a position to have many demo boards on hand but will rent to own the ones I do have so you will likely be able to try at least two boards at a time. Since our community here is quite small I would have to get some sincere interest expressed to bring a specific board in just to test things out, not sure how to work that yet. If anyone else feels as you do, 4J, that makes things easier on my inventory planning.~~~~~4j~~ wrote:The "Rebound" freestyle-wave model looks like it could be a good moderate wind CB board.

I have some boards on order and if anyone wanted an AHD this would be a good time to save on shipping costs and brokerage. Happy sailing.
Eastside: A Seal 102 demo will be available as will a Concept Wave 87 Tri-fin. I feel like more of a car saleman all the time

No kidding, for young kids like myself its all about glamor and flashiness. Lets face it, a slick paint job that allows you to look cool contributes more to your skills that actual R&D, design or hi-tech construction. And this goes for ALL sports.
Seriously though, this is something kiting has picked up on, and windsurfing seems to be lagging wayyyy wayyyy behind with the exception of a select few brands (ie. AHD, RRD, Tabou). If they want to keep youth in the sport they just need to look at other boards sports and take a clue. The kids dont want to spend $2G on a white board.

Don't forget to bring a towel!
