Recommended Spots in Peru

Post by firstonlastoff »

I may be able to swing a stay at a windy wavy beach in Peru very soon. I can windsurf, still a newbie in ocean breaks, but fully confident in surf <1 m or so. Anyone have any firsthand information - gear available for rent, conditions, possibility of getting by not knowing any Spanish, etc? I've seen over the past few weeks some websites are no longer accessible (at least in my searching). Thanks.

Everyone from the AWT event at Pacasamayo had glowing reviews (albeit slightly jaded by the epic conditions we had at San Carlos two weeks prior). But unless you are a goofy footer pining for port tack, save your money and go to PSC for twice as long.
Don't forget to bring a towel!

here is a link i found that lists off a bunch of spots, including a couple i never heard of before. you will probably be limited by what you can rent though so better start calling around. have a great adventure!
