Drove the road to the Nitinat Lake junction yesterday, never seen such big potholes ever. Allow an extra hour just for the gavel portions alone. The road from the junction to Port Alberni wasn't as bad but its rough as well.
I'm sure it will be graded in time for the thermal winds next month.
Not sure if the road to the lake is passable with a car, be careful if you don't have a huge truck or driving at night time.
